Playtex Bras Sale30% off is awesome.  That’s huge where did this come from?  I’m going to be shopping all day now.  And the free shipping over fifty bucks won’t be a hard target for me to reach.  It gets better and better now with this Playtex Bras 30% off sale.  It’s too uncommon to find great products at great prices.  The best part is, they’re products that fit the way they say they’re going to fit.

I’ve been a Playtex Bras convert for awhile.  When it comes to comfortable daily-wear undergarments that don’t make me feel like a grandma they’re easily one of the hands down best.  CCQ is now my favorite place to shop!

Champion BraNow I know that Champion Bras are great.  Probably some of the best in the business, especially considering the price.  The quality and value I get from CCQ is unparalleled.  Still, though, Champion didn’t invent the sports bra.  Who did?

The first sports bra dates from 1977. Hinda Miller and Lisa Landahl cut up a pair of jockstraps and sewed them together into a bra; it was marketed as the Jogbra. Other designs use gel and water pads, silver fibres, and air bags. A stitchless bra was made by Wacoal, molded, compressed, and shaped. Other bras are knitted in circular patterns, giving varying stretch and support.  A common basis is a stretchable, absorbent fabric such as Lycra, and may be designed to draw perspiration away from the skin to reduce irritation. Sports brassieres can be classified into either encapsulation brassieres (with molded cups), or compression brassieres that restrict movement by flattening the breasts. Encapsulation is generally better for reducing discomfort; some women prefer compression designs for modesty.

A short history of Bali!

Vintage Bali AdBali bras & intimates knows that beauty begins from within. It is a feeling as well as a look. It’s having confidence in everything you do and everything you wear. Beauty is the simple elegance, comfort and fit of Bali intimates. Because when you feel beautiful, you are.

The Bali brand traces its beginning to 1927 when women’s foundation garments were designed to project a flat silhouette. Sara Stein, who worked for a bra manufacturing company, saw the opportunity to deliver a better garment - a product that would appeal to women, yet be functional in construction and fit. Using a small Singer sewing machine tucked in the corner of her small Brooklyn apartment, Sara started to sew a different type of brassiere. Her husband, Sam, a sales clerk with Weber and Heilbrunner, a well-known roaring twenties men’s furnishings store, sold these to stores in the area. The name of the budding enterprise was Fay-Miss, a play on the word “famous.” First year sales were $10,000 – very impressive for a part-time venture in the late 1920’s. In 1935 Fay-Miss acquired a new name: Bali Brassiere Company.

The Steins were not solely interested in cutting and sewing brassieres for commercial profit. Their concern for quality, fit, performance and comfort were key to the company’s growth. By 1940, Sam and Sara Stein were considered the innovators of the foundations industry. They introduced the first bias cup brassiere, and the first all-cotton brassiere. Each was designed to be comfortable and enhance shape.

In 1969, with Sam and Sara nearing retirement, the Hanes Corporation of Winston-Salem, North Carolina acquired the controlling interest in the Bali Brassiere Company. One decade later, Hanes Corporation was acquired by Consolidated Foods Company out of Chicago, which in 1985 changed its name to Sara Lee Corporation. In 2006 the spin-off of Hanesbrands Inc. occurred and the Bali brand became one of the significant brands in their intimate apparel portfolio which also included *Playtex®, Wonderbra®, Barely There® and Hanes Her Way®.

More than 80 years after the company’s founding, Bali ® intimates still adheres to the original concept of designing and producing flattering, comfortable garments for women.

Champion BrasYou knew trying to play sports when you’re a female can be a pretty painful endeavor.  Especially if that sport involves any kind of running, jumping or jostling of any kind.  Even with some of the best sports bras out there it’s still a real challenge to get what I need out of a good sports bra.

But that’s where Champion comes in.  Champion Bras represent the vanguard in sports apparel for women, especially bras that make running sports enjoyable instead of a painful nightmare.  Without them I don’t know what I’d do.  It’s clear that competitors don’t put as much care into the desitgn and construction of their sports apparel for women as Champion does.  Thanks again guys!
